Library and resources

CERN's Legal Service Library provides users with over 1000 volumes and 40 periodicals.

Access to this Library is restricted to office hours (8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m). Our library is a so-called "consultation library". This means that no books can be borrowed. You can count on the availability of practically our entire collection at all times. A photocopying machine is at your disposal nearby (in the corridor).

The library mainly comprises works of administrative law and civil law of the two host countries (France and Switzerland) and of a significant section on the rights of international organizations. Technical fields like intellectual property, social security, nuclear law and the highway code are also represented. The works are arranged according to the system of UDC classification.
